A new version of POLi is about to be launched in the UK.
One of the key differences is that the new version of POLi is a Microsoft .Net
2.0 Click Once solution.
Plus, the new version will be Internet Explorer and Firefox compatible.

| A. POLi is a web based payment service that has been specifically designed for the growing global demand for secure on-line payments. POLi enables you to pay a merchant directly from the safety of your Internet banking facility, and works seamlessly with your bank's own security systems. So you no longer have to rely on using debit or credit card or and divulging your sensitive financial information to merchants when shopping online.

| A. POLi is perfect if you want to shop online without using your debit or credit card. Plus, by paying directly from your bank account you can also avoid interest or surcharges payable on credit card transactions. |

| Q. How do I use POLi? |
A. To make a POLi payment simply:
1. Click on the 'Pay with POLi' button on a Merchant's checkout page - this will take you to the POLi Payments site
2. Select the bank that you have an account with that you wish to use for your payment
3. POLi takes you to your bank's website where you log in to your internet banking as normal
4. POLi guides you through an online payment and populates the Merchant's bank details into the payment
5. You confirm the payment and print your receipt
6. POLi takes you back to the Merchant's site to view your payment confirmation

| Q. Is there any cost for using POLi? |
| A. No, there is no cost to use POLi. If your bank applies fees for electronic funds transfers, then these may be applicable. |

| A. POLi uses the most advanced security features available on the internet. Although POLi invokes your internet banking service, it does not access or store your internet banking identifier or password - these are entered directly by you into your internet banking log on screen using the usual security provided by your bank. |

| Q. Is POLi approved by my bank? |
| A. POLi is brought to you by Centricom Pty Ltd, an independent provider of innovative web-based transaction services including on-line payments. Centricom is not a bank, and does not necessarily have relationships with the banks accessible via POLi. |

| Q. What are the system requirements for my computer to use POLi? |
| A. To use POLi you must have Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, including Vista, with Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework installed. POLi will inform you when you first try to make a payment if you do not meet the system requirements, and if possible, point you in the direction of necessary upgrades. |
